Maintenance Mechanic

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
-
Associates degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or 5-7 years of relevant experience (industrial maintenance)

Strong analytical skills and demonstrated problem-solving abilities
-
Ability to read/interpret blueprints and schematics
-
Ability to work well with a team as well as independently
-
Must be results oriented with a strong desire to succeed
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
-
Experience trouble shooting, diagnosing, updating, installing and repairing CNC, Mill Turns and/or precision machine tools
-
Experience working with mega-tronics
-
Basic knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
-
Basic knowledge in AC and DC motor drive controls
-
Experience with PLC controls
-
Familiar with manufacturing processes and machining equipment
RESPONSIBILITY FOR FOLLOWING:
-
Testing, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining machine tools including CNC controls, PLC hardware and software, control circuits, electro/mechanical systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
-
Performing adjustments, alignments and calibrations on equipment
-
Installing and upgrading new and current equipment to adhere to LEAN Principles
-
Ensuring preventative maintenance schedules are performed on a regular basis
-
Assisting with other duties, assignments, and projects as required
